Singapore today (24 January) confirmed the first novel coronavirus case in a 66-year-old Wuhan native, while reporting another suspected case, according to the Straits Times.

The patient had traveled to Singapore on a China Southern flight CZ351 on 20 January, experiencing symptoms like fever and cough afterwards. Nine close contacts have been quarantined.

CZ351 operates from Guangzhou Baiyun Intl airport to Singapore.

cnn website has posted the latest news from Wuhan on the coronavirus showing : 131 have died and 4600 been affected . It seems to be spreading overseas to many countries .
