As I stay nearby, I will patronise that stall occasionally. Big Grin

$2.50 chicken rice still quite common, esp in older estates with the old coffeeshops and hawker centers. One of my colleagues has a lobang for a $2 laksa, which he buys for us coffee club members every now and then. Really cheap, and also really good...

FYI, there is a chicken rice stall selling $2.00 per package in Woodland MRT, the newly renovated retail space. There are pretty of other $2.00-$2.50 varieties nearby.

Just to add, there is also a chicken rice stall in Choa Chu Kang MRT station selling for $2, either dine in or take away. Portion is okay, but taste is average.

It's available in the hawker centre in mature estates.

342 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 opposite bishan Park - the nasi lemak is good. The mee siam is $2. Coffee small cup is 70cts. The wanton mee also good. Try the pig trotter bak kut teh... At $5 u can share it with another dish with your family!!!

Shunfu market - the lontong is so cheap at $2 / $2.50

There is one stall in Tampines selling nasi padang at S$2.50 , but definitely without drumstick and fish. If with these must add another S$4.00 .
