Lionflyer - great to see true blood warrior in VB.

when I read newspaper, I always had the habit of looking/take note of who is the writer. This allow me to see what's the angle/perspective that motivate him to contribute his ideas.

Thank you - you make my day.

It looks more like current affairs buddies.com than valuebuddies.com.
Most are not interested in FW's welfare but are more keen to draw lines here and there to link events to non-events or to whatever events that they deem fit.(even all the way back to LKY time, talk somemore we may reach Raffles)

Anyway, last post for me and it's not getting interesting nor in anyway constructive.
Policemen are more fearful of the public now. It's so easy to be STOMPed for the most trivial reasons. Attitudes have changed. This is one observation I see over the years.

Older folks would know what I am talking about.
You can count on the greed of man for the next recession to happen.
Few posts are removed, mainly related to the closed topic related to "the video clip".

I do understand buddies have more to say on the topic, but it will go nowhere. It had been discussed, and alternate views were presented. Further discussion might lead to unnecessary confrontation.

@yeokiwi. With a high profile case of this magnitude. Its implications might affect the gov policies, thus the investment decision, IMO

Thank you for your unbiase moderation.
IMHO, investing in local equities/policies isclosely linked to wat the gov implement.

Definitely , rating could be down because of this riot.
PM Lee has spoken...

S’poreans have taken Little India riot calmly: PM Lee

SINGAPORE — Singaporeans have taken the riot at Little India peacefully and calmly, even though they are shocked by what happened, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

Speaking to local media at the end of his visit to South Korea, Mr Lee said Singapore has not had a riot for a long time, but now that it has happened, it is bad and has to be dealt with firmly.

Mr Lee said the authorities must make clear the riot is unacceptable and there is no reason or justification for people to behave like that.

At the same time, he said it is important for Singaporeans to be fair to those who were not involved.

And for those who have been charged, there has to be due process of the law, he said.

Prime Minister Lee noted that the anxiety and alarm among Singaporeans is understandable.

But he cautioned that if people expressed themselves in unreserved terms or sometimes xenophobic terms, even on the internet, that would be unhelpful.

PM Lee confirmed Singaporeans commit more crimes than foreigners. We need reflection.

I don’t look to jump over 7-foot bars: I look around for 1-foot bars that I can step over.
If you had listened carefully, he was comparing with Singapore residents, not Singaporean.
