Curious: who are tat seng competitors in asia region? Since nine dragons etc are not competitors but suppliers.
I am tracking lse as well.. In Europe Mondi is one of the largest manfacturers of cogurrated paper packaging, and it has been quite successful in.the business.

This morning (9Mar17) Tat Seng hit another all-time high of $0.58. Todate, the stock has advanced 38% (from $0.42) in 2017. It appears that 63.95% majority controlling shareholder Hanwell (also listed on SGX) may want to sell this business to realise a nice investment gain, and CEO Loh See Moon (65 this year) may wish to retire and sell out his 15% stake too. Just my usual wildest guess! Please don't bet on it.

Somewhat similar to Intraco (previously) happening?
Only difference is this Tat Seng packaging actually is quite a fundamentally sound company.
And now it seems to be on a roll, excellent time for disposal to get a higher valuation for the major shareholders.
Maybe worth a 2nd look.

Would you be concerned with their huge exposure (>80%) revenues from China? In a scenario where RMB continues to depreciation, they might be affected.

Today (16Nov17) Tat Seng closed at a new high of $0.74 - up $0.05 or 7.2%! - backed by a rather high volume of over 500 lots. (Note: Tat Seng has 157.2m issued shares, and controlling shareholders Hanwell Holdings holds 63.95% and MD Loh See Moon holds another 15%.)
Something appears to be cooking!
