The fall in eps was due to FX losses. And NOTHING to do with the operation or quality of the customers.
Ok, that is Mad MOney's opinion and probably what fuyu is likely saying as well.

Toe's opinion changes with what is going on, it was a decent buy a while ago when conditions were right and favorable but right now....
52M sales with 1.1 net profit is, not so good. Smile

Was vested in fuyu but got out after the run up. Not seeking to buy back anytime soon after seeing this set of results. Current stance is neutral with a slight negative bias.
If condition(s), results, share price changes, my opinion changes as well. Fuyu is a commodity type of business where operational efficiency, higher margin/value add customers is key to profitability.

Conviction is vindicated!!! Question now is will sector sentiment bring it to higher height

Check out on the resume of CFO, she is an appropriate appointment to help the company at this juncture, where the 3 founders collectively own 40% do not have any 2nd generation in the company

The 3 plastic moulding companies that I wrote about. Fischer tech, Sunningdale and Fuyu turned out exactly as what is expected. The market is actually now pricing them right according to their current fundamentals. All 3 should be viewed differently even though they are in the same business. The interesting point here to make is that All 3 actually have about the same capabilities BUT the way they are managed and other important factors contribute to how they should be valued.

Plastic Moulding by definition is a commodity type business. How does one company generate a sustainable income with better margins in such a business is what separates the wheat from the chaff.

Fu Yu results tend to seesaw. Everytime you thought it has turnaround, it will turn back down. Very frustrating. I made some decent gains in this stock in the run up, but it is not something I would want to spend too much time and money on. To each his own.

Fu yu has great potential once they manage to reverse their declining revenue trend. Maybe revisit the stock once revenue starts to shape up? It still is a good dividend yield play with an added privatisation angle thrown in although prices seem to be too pricey to take a good position at the moment. The major shareholder Ng Hock Ching selling shares in the market shouldn't be too much of a concern seeing as how previous directors in the company has had the habit of doing so over the years. To me, they seem to be approaching their shares in the company with a trading mentality (quite evident as he does have a lot of 'media coverage').

Price has reached 0.24 and past NAV. Although buying remains strong, it's probably a good time to realize some profit and not be too greedy. The market may have failed to pull fu yu down with it today (and probably will fail for the next few days) but you never know. I have 1/3 of a position left in my portfolio. Hope everyone vested made some decent gains!

Who is this guy? He is not on the board or management of Fuyu, but he holds quite significant stake in Fuyu. He has been constantly selling his stake from 13.98% to 10.95% since 7 Mar.
