Hi BlueKelah,

PNE 3Q results were announced on 13 Aug 19.
Upcoming will be their FY results in end Nov.

Yes 3Q results was pretty encouraging but there was no corresponding rerating in share price nor volume since then.

There was an unusual increase in trading activity today. Might be isolated but might be market is happy today and someone is buying big into small caps.

I am expecting a good 4Q results and good dividends. Only managed to get ~30 lots today though, wonder who is the big buyer mopping up the rest?

It is a great company, a rare gem in volatile times.
Extremely generous dividends, cant find any fault with the management.
Only gripe is the liquidity. Next to impossible to accumulate a significant amount of shares within a reasonable time frame at low prices.

Depends on what your definition of low prices and significant amount means ;D

Liquidity wise, not realistic to expect a undervalued small cap stock with no analyst coverage to have much trading volume.

So far have been able to get about 60lots+ recently so not complaining, just a matter of whether you wanna buy up the sell queue or not LOL...

Mcap 72m + with 41m+ cash and no debt. lol. this is really no brainer to buy at current prices.

Probably will get bought out soon, would expect around $1.50 for this company.

Results for 2020H1:

https://links.sgx.com/FileOpen/PNE_FY20H...eID=610792

Profit down 52.9% on 22.9% reduction in revenue. Juicy interim/special dividend maintained; company is still sitting on a pile of cash as both inventories and receivables are well down.

It is worth noting that a good number of electronics / IT stocks have been strengthening nicely over the last 6 weeks, presumably looking forward to life after lock-down.

Hit $1 again finally but still on very small volume, hopefully some more volume in the coming days to take some profits. Nice cash cow.

the low liquidity makes it difficult to exit and take profit.
You can count on the greed of man for the next recession to happen.

Disappointing 1H 2021 results, with a loss. Still a decent interim dividend, but no special dividend
