Jack I have PM you the answers you are seeking...

Funny leh, no one update this stock, are you guys secretly queue at 0.605?
I saw 100+ lots queued at that price the other day.

I will save my congrats to fellow VBs when the special div comes in next half yearly report in end of this month or in Nov FY report...

Is it me? Haha. Sold PNE when its price doubled in 2014. Around mid-2015, the price dropped to 0.5X so I started to queue again. Accumulated 100,000 shares so far. Looking for more but so little shares available  Dodgy

1H16 results out liao.

Revenue and gross profit stable YoY.
Due to discontinued loss making PNE PRint which affected profits last year,  NET profit up almost 50% this year Big Grin
EPS 6.15c from continuing operations.

0.02c interim with a 0.03c special div declared. Share price has priced it in this morning, at share price 74c the interim yield alone is 6.76%.

congrats dividend hermit and other VBs! Your big bet worked out.

More special to come end of the year with the completed disposal of PNE PRINT which already bring in 13c of cash of which 6.7cents of realised profit will increase NAV further but not reflected in financials yet...

NAV at 90c, $35m cash with $10m coming in, no debt, EPS above dividend. Even at 4c per year total dividend yield is 5.4% at 74c. I don't think I will sell below 90c. Will wait out and take the 5c, hopefully more to come end of the year.

LOL good choice, that's how value investor works. Sell only when its fairly or overvalued.

But it seems from other companies earnings, in the electronics manufacturing sector which PNE Indus operates in, there is a start of what could be a significant decline, which could possibly worsen.

PNE Indus has more than adequate finances to tide it through, so better keep cash on hand to buy more when that happens.

Been holding this for a relatively long long time... like 3 years... its dividend has funded almost 50% of my cost (aga aga estimation) or more.

Love this stock and congrats to those who hold them.

I see this as a company without any "colourful" business.. thus many people actually ignore it previously.

well management may be malaysian, but they know how to do business. Divesting most of PNE PCB stake @ $1 was a good move last year, though somehow they did not manage to divest all, its only trading around 50c now. And now divest the loss making China operation at a profit another good move.

This year business may soften but the recent completed sale should be showing up in the next report and there should be good dividend coming up end of this year which should get punters coming in and pushing the price up..

Yup. Similar sentiments, I do expect the price to go up when they announce FY results.

Price go up before the FY results. Lol must be got insider leak. Today only 16.8 lots already pump until 84.5cents. I am expecting another bumper dividend and hopefully followed by some glowing reports from those analyst. The shares seem to be quite tightly held, so $1 should not be difficult to get there.
