Price @ 0.16 is a total rip off, Fischer's NCAV is already above 0.16 that means they wan to buy all their other fix asset for free. Given Fischer is still growing and generating very good amount of free cash flow, Its valuation should much higher. The chance of getting 90% of the share @0.16 is close to 0, people bought this counter are not stupid.

I think I would like to wait and see what's gonna happen next.

I'm new to this forum by the way, so hello everyone!

It is always wiser to hold decision till days before the closing date, especially for unconditional offer.

Anyway, welcome to our VB. Wish you all the best for your VB experience.

Thanks CityFarmer, in fact there's still lots for me to learn about stocks. It's the first time I received such notice and entirely clueless till I found this thread. My broker couldn't explain either and told me to call CDP instead.

Time to change your broker if they can't explain. Don't brokers need to do a test and get a license anymore?? Tongue

$0.16 for fischer is way too low. But if they can manage a privatisation at this price, nothing much minority shareholders can do.
Virtual currencies are worth virtually nothing.

So in the case of Fischer, how many % of the shares Harmony needs to hold in order to be able to proceed?

90% is needed, as of now it is abt 52%. I will advise you not to accept the order

Thanks for the advise. CDP told me that in the event privatisation really occurs then I'll become a private shareholder.

So what's gonna happen if I become a private shareholder?

Sorry for asking stupid questions.

Time to do research on the topic. You will learn more with the route.

Once over 90%, the right of mandatory acquisition might be exercised, your chance of becoming private shareholder is pretty slim.

For those who have the circular, I will like to refer to pages I-15 and I-18. In both pages, Fischer did a comparable to companies that delisted to their P/NTA as well as Fischer's historical PE to listed Industry comparables. In their tables of comparison, Fischer was always at the lower end, implying that the majority shareholder is trying to privatize Fischer cheaply.

To make it even more comical, today, some shareholders sold their shares @0.16 to the acquirer.
