Ahaha, yea that's true. But I find don't find the Singapore Consumer to be a good barometer of the financial markets leh.

The Singapore Economy and Financial Markets are affected by larger forces e.g. in late 2007- when markets started to trend down and through 2008- when the GFC went into high gear, you don't really hear much from the Man in the street. Only in late 2008 and 2009, then you hear people worry about tough times ahead and all.

With all the nice bonuses that came last year and earlier this year (if civil servants are anything to go by), I think many working folk are still in living in good times.

Haiz, I've been tightening my belt for the last 5 years, cos no good bonus at all! LOL!
