If you want to learn more about Buddhism, learn from the proper channel. Richard Lu is a 附佛外道. Meaning he uses Buddhism for his own personal preaching. Just like Falun Gong. You are free to believe in Richard Lu if you like his 'teachings' but please do not consider his teachings Buddhism. See posting 118.

One example is you can often see 'students' kneeling down asking for his help. How many times do we kneel to our parents? That is why kneeling is a no no for many monks. It creates ego and sometimes people kneel to monks due to the robes(Buddha, Dharma and Sangha) they wear and not to the monk. Is Richard Lu wearing the robe? In most cases, when there is a teaching, you see a Buddha statute positioned in front of the monk giving the talk so when one kneel, he is kneeling to the Buddha and not the monk. Richard Lu.....is a different form of 'Buddhism' or whatsoever. Please do not post Richard Lu's 'teachings' in this folder. Thanks.

To be fair, i have seen many of Master Lu videos. He asked people not to knee in front of him. And he always has Buddha picture behind him in it.
