Last few years in fact.
HG metal ran into capital problems and never really seem to recover.
On the other hand, Asia enterprises holdings has a over 20yr track record of continuous profitability.
That's many recessions and downturns

Goes to show u can be in the same business, it's how u run it that matters.
Also, Asia enterprises mainly supplies to the marine industry, and mainly in Indonesia. Not sure who are HG metals clients, but within the steel industry, who your major clients are would affect your business.

And to add to someone's post earlier, these steel players actually benefit from higher steel prices, not lower. I queried AEH before and they mentioned their profit is a percentage of steel prices, which are locked in during purchase. So in an environment of rising steel prices they r more profitable

More disposal of shares by insiders today. Sale done through indirect selling.
Some corporate restructuring exercise?

Its not really a direct disposal by William, its a reduction in deemed interests.
Not sure of the reasons behind these changes though.
very compelling from a valuation perspective though

Well looks like tan sri Cheng Heng Jem has continued to offload his shares from dec 26 all the way till now, Jan 7th
This is def negative; he could view a drop in the industrial property market this yr

if he dumped shares based on something we dunno, does this considered breach against insider trading?

If it's a specific company event, like reporting losses next quarter that he knows about before selling, and it's not yet public knowledge yet, then yes
If it's just his general view that the industrial prop and steel trading sectors are doing poorly, then no.
But it's really a fine line IMO

The Cheng has been sending the signal , it is up to individual to interpret it. Believe the answer should be very obvious.
