I also have the observation that the crowd is slowly getting back, i.e. not as empty as the last 2 weeks.
In fact, I met a PAP MP doing walkabout.
I think by next month, things will return to normalcy. Sigh, I will surely miss the less crowded SG and MRT trains.

dont be so confident yet, as I said before this is flu like spread. Quarantine only slows the spread down. Soon u will see more cases again especially when indon and workers form other high infection rate countries come in. And also as people go back into the world, it helps the virus to spread more easily. Next month or even next week everything empty again.

The latest taking such actions is now Singtel, which I think so far is the biggest company here doing so ? If the local banks follow suit, I think we cld perhaps be finally seeing a serious property correction after so many good years. I cld be wrong but I do not recall GFC in years 2008/2008 having such a big impact(even if there was, I think it was quite shortlived).
Perhaps the situation now is closer to SARS in 2003 ?
On a sidenote, with the STI down 6% today realised quite a number of my GTD orders were automatically executed(now I know the disadvantages, lol), there are quite a number of bargain stocks starting to emerge.
Singtel freezing wages of all staff this year, except for operational and support workers (09 Mar 2020)

It is my first time seeing STI down 6% in a single day. Unbelievable.
Although prices have come down, some of the companies I wish to purchase are still a little too high for me. Hopefully, they will come down a little more in the coming weeks. SG stocks now don't look so expensive against HK stocks.
I wonder how low COE is going to be at the next bidding.

With algo driven trading more pervasive nowadays, we gonna get bigger daily falls than in the past when sentiment turns sour and vice versa when market turns.
How about COE $1k soon? Been a long wait. Time to enjoy some of the profits from my Vicom investment
