At current price, the PE is 6.2, assuming each quarter's earnings are equal to Q1 earnings. Am I being too optimistic with regards to 2017 earnings? The market seems to think so...

CIMB analyst forecasted FY2017 PE ratio of around 8 at AEM's current price.
If you take a longer time frame, with the shift towards 5G and IOT, a lot more chips will need to be tested. It will also be important to track the fortunes of Intel, AEM likely main customer, which is moving rapidly into IOT.
Vested small stake in AEM at average price of $0.69

I only read some annual reports in detail. For those boring, predictable stocks which I'm familiar with, I just read the Chairman's statement and briefly run through the financial statements.

I bought some AEM at 2.11. My guesstimate puts the 2017 PE at 6, so with a 25% dividend payout, that should translate into a dividend yield of 4%, while waiting for capital appreciation.
