Well, the treasury shares only 11.7 % of the total placement shares; the rest are new shares so dilution is still there. I suppose the market is indeed positive with KSH.

KSH, together with JV partners Oxely, Heeton and TEE soon to launch these projects:

Newest, Seletar Gdn, KAP or king albert park and whitely landed houses.

First 3 have retail shops so could be interesting to see response from buyers, margins shd be quite fat as land bought quite reasonable price.

every 1ct Oxley makes from above projects, KSH makes about 1.7ct bcos of % stakes vs number of issued shares.

Wonder who took the placement shares though and whether they are short term traders or long term investors.

KSH broke out of consolidation and into all time highs today.

Newest will be launched this weekend. Hope they sell many units.

A nice break out indeed - perhaps also in anticipation of FY2013 results.

Is that almost a foregone conclusion?

Press Release
Full Year Financial Results

Excellent set of results, but no surprises as net profits is almost doubled compared to last year. Final dividend of 1.15 cents declared.
You can count on the greed of man for the next recession to happen.

Sudden burst in interest in the counter on Friday. Wonder what's up other than OCBC still promoting the counter. And AGM soon in a couple of weeks.

No new developments from what I see.

I detect shorting at KSH, with seller always trying to hit 1 lot of buyers' price during the day, and trying to close it low everyday, maybe to cause forced selling or panic selling.

Other counters also I can see shorting, like LKH and maybe CES, but none as strong a shortist as the KSH seller who is very adamant about wanting the stock to fall.

Once he run out of scrip to short the stock will probably recover as RNAV is above $1 and earnings for next few years visibly good.

(Hope there is no bad news on property sector.)

what do u mean by strike price? sorry, not familiar.

for bad news, not sure how much of it is priced in to prop stocks already. if prop stock price is trading at 10-20% discount to RNAV I think we have to worry more abt bad news. if prop stock price is trading 60% discount to RNAV - and esp if co already has pre sold many of its projects like KSH - then the worry is less. In fact it would seem like the stock price is already pricing in 30-40% drop in physical property prices.

I think many prop stock owners already go in with open eyes that 2015-6 is going to see a big supply and perhaps even big drop in rental. Any property measure, any interest rate hikes, any regional crisis that in the end leads to 20-30% drop in physical prop prices is therefore within expectation. I would accumulate if prop stock prices drop another 10-20% from here.

Looking at chart, the target of the shortists are the more liquid stocks like KSH and CES. They are forcing a breakdown of the charts because many small developer stock charts are the best over the past 1 year compared to STI they have outperformed. sometimes this becomes the reason for shortists to target them as they think there is more meat in shorting them to cause a U-turn in trend or a breakdown in support.
