Anyone any thoughts on their plans to delist from SGX at $0.30 while the current market price is $0.265. They are also listed on the HKSE and intend to remain listed there. Though it is not a done deal, have not seen such a large arbitration opportunity since Hsu Fu Chi. Report from Maybank K E: http://www.remisiers.org/cms_images/rese...001121.pdf. The returns could be up to 13%. The only problem is that we do not know the timeframe even if it goes through. There could be an opportunity cost here. The question is- is the risk worth taking? Those into special situation investing may find this an interesting proposition.

Hihi,

Personally, I think the delisting is very likely to go through. U may wish to refer to my writeup on my blog here for more details on China Animal http://www.ernestlim15.blogspot.sg/2013/...sting.html

I think the delist will eventually happen.

The fact that they reduce gearing and stop distributing dividend is another step closer to delist.

The tougher question is when the delist will be confirmed.

Maybe after a huge open-market selloff?
