Q8: How has current weather conditions China impacted China Essence's potato production?
China Essence potato production sites, which are located in Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia, have not been affected by the floods that plagued certain parts of China in July. This is because Heilongjiang is mostly flatland and hence, heavy rainfall does minimal harm to the fields. Being headquartered in Heilongjiang also has its strategic advantages in that the fertile black soils of the Province enable the production of premium potatoes, which in turn ensures the high quality of the Company's products.

Joint venture announcement on modified starch should be on the way soon, given that quite some time has passed since the company last mentioned about this during the results briefing last year...
With the additional cash injection from the interested party, essence position should be shored up

Getting loans in China now is not easy...the fact that Essence managed to secure loans after loans from local chinese banks say a lot about their relationship with Chinese govts

Q4 results will be bloodbath too....So full year result is going to be probably more than RMB 200mil loss...How is this company going to survive?
