Don't invest like "gambling", i think he said more than twice.

But how?

What does he means?

What investment has no risk?
WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

Same goes to: "Rule #1: Never lose money. Rule# 2 Never forget Rule #1."

My interpretation is, always balance risk and return. Never assume unnecessary risk.

does it means that if one invest like him he will has no risk? anyway I don't believe the no risk talk. there's always risk but how to manage it and how much you can shoulder

It's all about risk adjusted gains, ie. expected returns (probability x pay off).

I think Li KS also a good asset trader. E.g. selling Orange at dotcom bubble peak . Top-up lease for a big land plot at bottom of property market. and many others.

To asset trade, means must have money when everyone else have none...and sell out when the greater fool comes along...
