Yes, the dividend was credited last Friday November 26, 2010. It's indeed a nice bonus for the weekend haha!

Yea as expected with the lack of rental income.

Though, I did not expect them to maintain the 1 cent distribution (a 100% payout ratio).

(Not Vested)

Wonder going forward, how are they going to grow revenues. Seems to me they are sitting on a pile of cash, with no efficient way to use it and not much expansion or growth prospects.

This week's The Edge has a write-up on GRP, surprise surprise! Han says that he is on the lookout for M&A for the Hoses and MEasuring Instruments Divisions to ensure synergy and to grow the division(s). However, nothing has really come to his attention yet.

Also, if the uPVC division continues to do badly, he may decide to divest it.

Problem is there is only one Exec Director thus there is not much strategic planning and direction for this Company. In short, it is just plodding along, albeit with a ton of cash (9.5c per share).

Let's wait for August 2011 when they release FY 2011 results to get an update. Smile

Hi buddies, is the management of this company solid? I look at the annual report and realized that most of them are china chinese.
Then I start to worry about the credibility of the figures on the report, especially the cash portion. please share your views.

I've personally received 4 rounds of dividends since I was vested, hence I don't think it's a big problem.

I am more concerned on how they intend to grow the company and deploy the cash for better use.

Managed to get a copy of The Edge article. Not the best quality, but at least it is readable. Please see attached.
