Yeah, my investments into property developers so far have been either breakeven or slightly negative! Haven't learned the "secret" for this industry yet! Sad Anyway, the market is getting increasingly more vocal in asking the Government to relent on its cooling measures (patient may be freezing to death); let's see what happens. Always stay positive!

The secret is to buy when the property sector is out of favour and prices are way below nav. Then hold long term for the next upcycle, usually 5-10 years.

Property sector has definitely cooled down significantly from the last few years, and I'm starting to go for a few of these development previews to get a feel of things.

Was at High Park Residences yesterday and am quite impressed with the marketing. They've certainly drummed up a good amount of excitement. Found this short video of the scene online for those who are interested but lazy to go down yourself Tongue

[we have seen some recent progress that will result in the removal of some of the actions taken by the adjoining owner.]

so only some of the actions are removed and not all of the actions.

[we hope that we are close to achieving the required authority approvals and permits to allow the next stage of demolition works to recommence.]

we all know how troublesome it is to get approvals and permit from the people down under.

Anyone here was at High Park Residences balloting today? Inside info on how the sales is going?

Seems that response has been overwhelming, 3000 EOI cheques received for just over 1000 units.

I'm rather impressed by CEL's execution. Moving units and maintaining profit margins in a depressed market requires some good skills Cool From what I understand, development costs are kept down by economies of scale, and using "basic" furnishings like simple flooring and appliances. It caters specially to bargain hunters and allows buyers with lower loaning ability into the condo game as well.
