Care to share ? Thanks I think market is getting no where. Under these condition, one should be looking to sell, because I feel we got more downside to come, so no accumulation for now. Wait first.
OK, let say they lose the Melbourne case. how much loss will they incur??? Let give an est, number.
Can anyone say something? thanks

i think no loss. maybe less profit? assume they return money to buyers and redraw the building design and get new approval.
but its only wild guess at the moment, better to wait for the result of the case.

sure there is loss. But, it is limited.
As mentioned before, Raymond did talk about the worst case. It is deposit with some interest to return back to buyer. What is the interest we talk about here? I would expect that should follow the Australia interest rate. If the money return back to buyer after 3 years and interest of 5% per year, that could be 15% of deposit money. How much Deposit we talked about here? Could below news as reference? http://www.smh.com.au/business/tower-mel...z3K4xxQPOS

Not worry... just sharing.
The most important is to invest in those you comfortable and earning money. Invest in share is a long journey. At least, you are earning when selling at 91 cents. Keep it up at your learning and study! SmU is a very good and having a good reputation school. Victorian parliament has just changed hands with Labor winning elections. This means Liberal party planning minister Matthew Guy will be replaced by a Labor minister. Possibility VCAT appeal may be successful this time has just increased. CP : Wonder who will be asking Matthew guy to "go fly kite"?
In fact, it's very possible the Labor minister may review all the planning approvals and revoke some as there is a lot of growing discontent amongst locals with the increasing empty apartments going up in Melbourne. Melbourne City Council to ask Matthew Guy to reverse decision on Collins Street site Extract : [The highest-profile example in Melbourne is 555 Collins Street, over which the city council will on Tuesday ask Mr Guy to reverse planning laws he changed last year. In April 2013 Mr Guy altered the planning rules on the site, owned at the time by developer Harry Stamoulis, to allow a tower on it to overshadow the south bank of the Yarra River. Mr Stamoulis bought the property for $38 million in 2003. Soon after Mr Guy changed the planning rules for the site, he sold it to Singaporean developer Fragrance Group for $78 million.] Very obvious what's going behind the scenes. Talking about overshadowing, the future CUB project's future doesn't look too good. -not vested-
