I saw article on this in reader digest maybe 20 years ago of group of people living in a opal mine in australia seemed like a really good idea to escape the heat and cheap too, and when you low on cash or need another room just dig one out and maybe can find a few nuggets at same time to pay for the beer.

Timely for the amendment, of State Lands Act and Land Acquisition Act, on 8 May 2015: Facilitating use and development of underground space. It is definitely interesting to stay underground, for the cooling without air-con, especially now.

Living under-ground, isn't new to mankind. I reckon it should be already a solution, albeit might be expansive.

Underground living - for short duration services is okay lah... eg, shopping, spas, library, storage, clinics, cinema..etcs.....

For living my life, no loh... i need the sun and wind and rain!
