Aspial Corporation Limited (“Aspial”), a homegrown company with a diversified portfolio of businesses including real estate, jewellery and financial services, announced today that its maiden retail bond offering was oversubscribed and received overwhelming interest from investors.



Aspial’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Koh Wee Seng, said, “Despite the recent challenging and volatile environment which brought steep swings in global financial markets, the tremendous interest received from investors strongly demonstrates the appeal of fixed returns that our bonds provide. Additionally, this bears a solid testament to investors’ confidence in our businesses and strong portfolio of established household brands.”



Other highlights:

· Bond Offer was overall 3.9 times subscribed

- Retail tranche was approx. 8.7 times subscribed

- Placement tranche was 3.0 times subscribed; it was expanded to S$50 million and closed on the first day of the offer period (Aug 19)

· Bonds are expected to commence trading on SGX Main Board at 9am on Aug 31

· Net proceeds of approximately S$146.7 million was raised from the offer

· First interest payment to be on Feb 28, 2016

TLV Holdings Limited, a Singapore-based jeweller principally engaged in the sale of jewellery in both local and international markets on a wholesale and retail basis, has launched its initial public offering (IPO) of approximately 76.5 million shares priced at S$0.22, by way of a placement on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) Catalist board.

IPO details

The issue manager, sponsor and placement agent for the IPO is PrimePartners Corporate Finance, which is dealing with a placement of 76,459,000 shares in total. This is comprised of 70,777,000 new shares and 5,682,000 vendor shares.

At S$0.22 per share, the placement will raise approximately S$16.8 million (US$11.9 million) and is priced at a price earnings ratio of 10.0, based on TLV’s historical net earnings per share of 2.2 cents for the financial year ended 31 March 2015 (FY2015). FY 2015 saw TLV’s net profit reach ~S$10.7 million and with a pre-placement share capital of 492,456,000 shares.

Closing on 15 September 2015, the listing and trading of TLV’s shares on Catalist is expected to commence on a “ready” basis at 0900 hrs on Thursday. 17 September 2015.

SINGAPORE (Sept 22): Home-grown restaurant chain Jumbo Group - well-known for its signature chilli crab - wants to expand its presence in the region by using proceeds from an upcoming public offer.

On Monday, Jumbo lodged its preliminary prospectus to list on Singapore Exchange.

The only one in Singapore that I've invested in was ABR Holdings. Its actually done reasonably well (especially if you consider they paid a special dividend of 30 cents in 2012 following a successful divestment)
