Equity risk is really high, when you consider the choice you made is tied to the faith you have on management? Even if the mgmt/major shldrs are honest, they may not share the same interest in realizing the gain that the company had received for distribution to minority.

I feel the frastration of all here that had invested in NT. The way forward is to write to SIAS to question why mgmt had chose not to distribute the SHA payout?

Someone can start writing but company can easily defend itself by explaining that it is taking its time to shop around for the best investment ....

Minority shareholders are always on losing end ....

SAH has an NAV of 9.83 cents as of end Sept 2012.

But why are there people selling at 8.7 cents?

Tien Wah has posted an all-time high quarterly revenue of 111.3 mil (RM) to date. this will show up in New Toyo's results as well.

it was probably something beyond the good financial results. We all know that cigarette packaging and printing has stable revenues and Asia Pacific is a super growth markets for the big tobacco companies (PMI, BAT, etc).

But what is the fundamental reasoning driving those buyers of the 3000 lots or so? I just think that it has to be something "really special" beyond the financial results.

Do these people have insider info?
MAS should investigate each buyer trading accounts during that day and the day before. Just generate the whole list of buyers and see if any of them is related to company directors , and prosecute them!

With the dividends from SAH and Tien Wah, New Toyo's cash holdings will be substantially higher.

if those chaps buying aggressively at 29 cents are really insider, well they are probably looking at gains of 20 to 30% at least. Or else, no point gnawing all the sellers so aggressively back then...mystery will be solved soon...

With the solid result from Tien Wah, New Toyo's results should be pretty solid too.

In addition, as explained at the last AGM, it has regained sales (specialty paper segment) from one of the lost markets (i.e. the Philippines). It is quite a sizeable one as PMI is the biggest player.

those who bought the 3000 lots few weeks ago are not any tom dick harry Smile
