so long as ben chng is buying at current market price, there is a good margin of safety at least for me.

Hi all,

I still have Viz Branz warrants not exercised (expiring this month end). Is it wise to exercise them now or sell in the market? all comments are appreciated, thanks.

I am kind of surprised that you have kept your warrants till now, when most shareholders have converted theirs some time back to take advantage of Viz Branz's 4 dividend payments in FY10. I think your best option now is to convert the warrants before the expiry date to have the benefit of the expected Final dividend for FY11 (ending 30Jun11) or to sell the shares later. To sell your warrants now, very likely you will have to accept a larger discount against the current share price of Viz Branz.

As a non-coffee drinker, at first I tried QAF's Cowhead organic natural oats 500g priced at $3.10, then just recently swtiched to Vizbranz' oats, seem gd enough and better value for money.
yesterday i went to the supermarket nearby and was surprised to noted that the Gold Roast's 100% natural oats 1kg is now priced at $4.55 or a hefty 15.2% increase.

A relevant question: Would Viz Branz now push harder to grow this promising business in PRC? More info on Bridge Shine Group....

Per today's (17Jun11) announcement, the acquisition of the remaining 25% minority interest in PRC subsidiary Bridge Shine Coffee (Shanghai) Co. Ltd for USD150k was completed on 3Jun11.....

Let's hope that Viz Branz will benefit from the trend that more Chinese people in PRC will gradually pick up the habbit of drinking coffee.

The warrant is now in the buy-in stage. There were still offers in the sell queue yesterday. Hope those warrant holders know they must convert the warrants before the expiry date, otherwise they end up with a piece of waste paper.

By way of today's (11Jul11) announcement, Viz Branz on 7Jul11 bought back 346 lots from the open-market at $0.265/share.....

It is good to know that Viz Branz's management sees value of its own shares at the current price level.

Judging by the bigger than usual number of transactions on 11 July and the queue of 300 lots at 27.5c today, my guess is that the company could be actively seeking to buy back more shares from the market at presumably attractive valuations. If this is the case, we can expect more annoucements to this effect in the near future.

some speculation thought:

I guess the seller(s) has(have) informed the company about their intent to sell so that the company could buy back the similar amount of shares. Just before the selldown, there was a sudden increase of 350 lots buy in queue. It happened last Thursday/Friday and as well as Monday. And today there is similar buy queue, so would someone sell 350 lots later today?

Another speculation thought would be why Ben Chng did not buy but the company bought back?
