Hi Wahkao, regarding mistake m- " not protecting yourself from down side,, may i know how to that? Is that someting like cutting loss by discipline or some kind of hedge or MOS ? I am new, has been a silent reader here for sometime.this is my first post, hope im not asking some silly questions

For.real value investing, cutting loss would almost never come into the picture. Mostly accumulate more if stock cheaper and fundamentals are still intact. There is no point selling in a crash if you still have comfortable cash pile and your undervalued assets are still generating good divs
