There were transactions closed at 70 cents in the last few days. Logically the shares should be acquired by Mr Wen, but no disclosure announced so far. Today, there are transaction at 70.5 cents, and clearly the buyer isn't Mr Wen.

The shares in HK are transacted at HK$ 4.4 today, which is S$ 0.71. Investors are acquiring at SGX, and will hold it till transferred to HKEx?

I didn't read much about the offer, I have little units in Sound and if I didn't sell thru SGX they will be still redeemed in cash right? Or will transferred to HKSE? Am confused.

Your choices are
- Sell the shares thru SGX, before the exit offer is expire
- Accept the exit offer for $0.70 net, after the exit offer letter is dispatched
- Receive share certificates after the exit offer is expire and your shares are transferred to HKEX

If further detail needed, please refer to the official doc.

More and more trades done above 70c, it is really weird. Could it be Sound is about to post a surprise announcement so Mr Wen quickly catch some more shares when they are still "cheap"?

Weird? The exit offer from Mr. Wen is quite different from other offers. The exit from SGX, remains listed in HKEx, and at the same time redeems the CB, is a wise move, IMO. It reduces the hassle for dual primary listings, and also easier for future corporate actions.

Mr. Wen seems not eager to acquire the shares in SGX, but prefer to transfer them to HKEx. At least so far I didn't catch any disclosures from him.

May be the HK investors are jumping the gun, and buying them at price higher than the exit offer.

The company is priced at HKD 4.5 in SEHK, which is equivalent to 73 Singapore cents. The Hong Kong investors are getting impatient, and can't wait till the resolution is passed.

The company is priced at 71.5 Singapore cents in SGX
