I apologise for being such a pain and law saw.

I am still learning and wondered if anybody can teach me when to sell LKH or to hold. Should I sell after collecting dividend? Just only got 2 lots of LKH. Thank you. Really really appreciate your advice. No worries, I am solely responsible for my decision.

Perhaps, only god knows. Unfortunately, god cannot disclose….

It may be too late and too low to consider divesting LKH at 73.5 cts (not to mention minimum brokerage).

As I recalled, in past few months, there was a strong accumulation or support at 74 cts for several weeks, prior to the final surge.
I speculate, these buyings had nothing to do with speculators or traders who were totally ignorant about the daily operation of the company.
Chances are the support is likely to continue at 74 (prior XD).
Apparently, the shrew accumulation is taking advantage of the situation.

The fact is, there was nothing wrong with the latest LKH financial result.
It was an excellent, record breaking result (though not as stunning as CES).

If ever there was any disappointment, this was because of the unrealistic expectation, excessive buying and overwhelming trading (prior announcement) which had overdriven the price by a cent or two .
Currently, the unusual dumping is probably a result of the overbought position by short-term traders.
Fortunately, LKH has an extremely small market float and the general minorities are mid to long term investors.
Its downside pressure is limited and will get over and done with really soon.

Strictly on fundamental, historical integrity of company and dividend policy, this counter offers an exceptional high level comfort.
LKH is conservative and prudent, low-risk-low-return, not many can beat its track record in dividend.

However, often not a fund managers’ counter, as such, hardly recommended by analysts, despite of its awesome fundamental and attractive price.
Many only learn about LKH through their own due diligence and remains a strong believer for good.

If ever LKH is privatized, will it bring a windfall ?

2 lots' exposure very little. It depends on your investment horizon.

Another question is, do you have another stock to recycle your capital?

I think LKH suffered the same price retreat as CES and Wee Hur. Its tough to say should sell or not sell. Depends on what you are after too. I personally divested much of my CES after the price retreated, because I had other counters to court. Just be clear with what you are after.

LKH happened to be on my radar for a while.
The thing I am scared most is not nightmares or market crashes..... Its my greed that I fear the most.

When people ask what is my target price, I never have any good answer for it because Philip Fisher said before (in Common Stock Uncommon Profit) that the best time to sell is never. Equity investment is buying into ownership, not betting slips.

The path to greatness and wealth is necessarily dangerous.... because greed is a fearsome fore that threatens your success at every step.

Property sector in SG not good, so most property stock will trend down, LKH also same same.

If no better alternative investment, can just park this longer term 3-5 years until a catalyst comes around. After all gearing is not much, so not prone to interest rate shocks and recurrent income is starting to come in which will sustain a reasonable dividend payout into the future.

LKH was twice my core holding.
> 1st round about 10 years back when it first started selling hotels; I sold out after its Bonus Issue to exhaust its Section 44 tax credits.
> 2nd round when it first announced good sales booking for Paya Lebar Sq; sold out recently...
No foreseeable near term catalyst to unlock value... another next cycle stock...

Interesting price movement at the end of Friday. Wonder if something is brewing? Or perhaps there's nothing? Huh

I believe that value in itself is a catalyst - the only exception is when the majority shareholder exploits the minorities on purpose. Don't see any of that at Low Keng Huat, so I'm a happy shareholder Tongue

Probably a share buyback or open market purchase by SSH. the vol higher than average.

With quality assets providing recurring income, pretty sure owners are looking to privatise at some stage. Would not be surprised if an offer is made at a dollar.

Not much float left, price movement on any news will be up or down very fast.

Added more at 55 cents today. Stable earnings with 3-5 cents every year... At this price it's more than 5% yield. Thoughts anyone?

The fervor on LKH, KSH, CES, Hock Lian Seng are already over. Early investors have already cashed out. When the share price and trading volume peaked on news of bumper dividend pay outs, that was when the BBs take profit and the retail investors got sucked in.
