CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT IN MALAYSIA
 Expansion of business presence by division in new market of Malaysia
 Boustead Group’s order book backlog raised to over S$487 million
Singapore, 27 October 2014
Boustead Singapore Limited (“Boustead”) is pleased to announce that a unit of its
wholly-owned subsidiary, Boustead Projects Pte Ltd (“Boustead Projects”) – a leading
specialist in industrial real estate solutions – has recently been awarded a milestone
construction management and construction contract, expanding Boustead Projects’
presence in the new market of Malaysia. Awarded to BP Engineering Solutions Sdn Bhd
(“BP Engineering Solutions”), the contract (the “Contract”) is for a medical device
manufacturing facility (the “Facility”) for a multinational corporation from the United
States, to be located at the Kulim Hi-Tech Park (the “KHTP”) in Malaysia. The Contract
value for the construction of the Facility is in excess of MYR90 million (~ S$35 million).
The construction of the Facility is expected to be completed in calendar year 2Q 2015.
The Facility is located in the state of Kedah at the KHTP, which received the FIABCI
Malaysia Property Award of Distinction in 2003 and is ranked as one of Asia’s top
business, industrial and technology parks. The 1,700-hectare integrated technology
park is home to capital-intensive and high value-added technology-related industrial
sectors including advanced electronics, mechanical electronics, telecommunications,
semiconductors, optoelectronics, biotechnology, advanced materials, research &
development and emerging technologies.
The Contract adds to Boustead Projects’ strategic expansion into Malaysia, where
Boustead Projects’ 35%-owned joint venture development, iBP @ Nusajaya was officially
launched in Iskandar Malaysia.
The Contract has raised the Boustead Group’s order book backlog (as at the end of June
2014 plus new orders since) to over S$487 million.
The Contract is not expected to have a material impact on the profitability, earnings per
share or net tangible asset value per share of the Boustead Group in the current
financial year ending 31 March 2015.
None of the Directors or controlling shareholders of Boustead has any interest, direct or
indirect, in the Contract.

Very strange isn't the principal activities of Boustead Projects about DBL, why incorporate another subsidairy?

The principal activity of BP E&C are the design, build and development of industrial
facilities and industrial parks. Its initial paid up capital is S$2.

The Board of Directors of Boustead Singapore Limited (the "Company") wishes to
announce that the Company’s 100% owned subsidiary, Boustead Projects Pte Ltd, has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore known as Boustead Projects E&C Pte. Ltd. (“BP E&C”).

The principal activity of BP E&C are the design, build and development of industrial
facilities and industrial parks. Its initial paid up capital is S$2.

The incorporation of BP E&C is not expected to have any material impact on the Group’s earnings per share or net tangible assets per share for the financial year ending
31 March 2015.
None of the Directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct
or indirect in the transaction.

Boustead Singapore Limited (“Boustead”) is pleased to announce that its Energy-Related
Engineering Division has recently secured approximately S$33 million in contracts from
the oil & gas industries globally.
The contracts involve the design, process engineering and supply of key large-scale
direct-fired process heaters, waste heat recovery units and process control systems for
upstream and downstream oil & gas developments in Africa, Asia Pacific, Middle East,
North America and South America.
With the addition of the latest contracts, the Boustead Group’s order book backlog (as at
the end of June plus new orders since then) currently stands at S$520 million.
These contracts are not expected to have a material impact on the profitability, earnings
per share or net tangible asset value per share of the Boustead Group in the current
financial year ending 31 March 2015.
None of the Directors or controlling shareholders of Boustead has any interest, direct or
indirect, in the above contracts.

2Q/1H FY2015 Highlights:
 2Q FY2015 revenue of S$129.7 million was 14% above 2Q FY2014 while 1H FY2015 revenue of S$256.1 million was 6% above 1H FY2014.
 2Q FY2015 profit attributable to equity holders of the company (“net profit”) of S$17.5 million was 94% above 2Q FY2014, while 1H FY2015 net profit was 26% above 1H FY2014. After adjusting for non-recurring gains/losses, net profit
would have increased by 46% over 2Q FY2014 and by 38% over 1H FY2014.
 The Group’s order book backlog currently stands at S$441 million.
 The Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of 2 cents per share for 2Q FY2015, matching that paid for 2Q FY2014.

TECHNOLOGY and engineering group Boustead Singapore reported a net profit of S$17.5 million for its second quarter ended Sept 30, up 94 per cent from S$9 million a year ago. Revenue increased by 14 per cent from S$113.3 million to S$129.7 million.

subsidiary, Esri Australia Pty Ltd (“Esri Australia”) – an exclusive distributor of worldleading
Esri geo-spatial technology and the number one provider of geographic
information systems (“GIS”) in Australia – has been awarded a landmark A$16.5 million
contract (approximately S$18.6 million) (the “Contract”) from the Australian
Government Department of Defence (“Defence”).
The three-year Contract includes the provision of Esri ArcGIS software, professional
services, training and after-sales software services to Defence.
Leveraging on both local and international expertise, Esri Australia will play a strategic
role in supporting Defence in the creation of an enterprise-wide GIS. The partnership
will deliver advanced geospatial and mapping capabilities across Defence – facilitating
greater collaboration, quicker analysis, more robust planning and ultimately, superior
decision making.
More than 65,000 military and civilian personnel will be able to access state-of-the-art
Esri technology across the entire Defence enterprise at fixed and deployed locations
globally.
Esri Australia’s Managing Director, Mr Brett Bundock said, “Esri Australia has been a
strategic partner of the Department of Defence for more than a decade – and this new
agreement reaffirms Defence’s commitment to continue innovating with this software.”
Esri Australia’s National Security Lead, Mr Simon Hill added that Defence would also be
better able to leverage its investment in other technology platforms through the ability
to integrate GIS with other core business platforms including SAP, IBM and Microsoft.
Esri’s world-leading geo-spatial technology – known as the ArcGIS platform – is used by
more than 400,000 organisations worldwide. It is a vital tool for many of the world’s
leading national security organisations, including US defence and intelligence
communities, as well as the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).

I reckon ESRI Indonesia is going to expand very fast & wide, under the new Gov. The President was one of the pioneers in GIS adoption during his tenure as Governor of Jakarta. We shall see.
