Aug 2014 - Construction,property,REITs counters. Good to buy now?

I am considering to invest into construction,property and REITs now. I intend to cherry pick some undervalued ones. REITS dont look attractive. Their FFO relative to price is not too cheap. But there are several good property and construction counters up for grabs!

Are they good to buy? Most of my buddies say to stay off these counters due to the property cooling measures and the recent steep drop in property counters.

For me, its precisely because of the recent drop that makes property counters more attractive.

Steering clear of property related counters might be a good idea, some may be uptrend or looks cheap for now but looking at China, until the market there stabilizes, it's a big risk which can easily spread to sg
