pianist, do nothing as in if you are invested to your desired allocation, don't be tempted to add more if you can't find anything of value.

Sell it? Well, the question was only asking "How to invest in bull markets that are nearing it's end".

I think that answer would be best left to another topic "What to do when the bull turns to bear". Smile

thanks for e reply. what is your equity allocation as a % of liquid investible asset now? I feel now we are not yet nearing the end of a bull..this bull still has some more to climb..but i have regretfully not buying actively these days..

I'm in the region of 60% equities(no funds, just shares), 15% bonds(no funds, just bonds), 3% gold (no funds, real gold bars), 22% CASH (aussie currency with rolling 4.6% pa interest) Smile )

Like I say , there is no need to regret on wasted opportunities. Life is full of them. I also regret not putting all my money into properties in 2009 instead. Tongue Just hindsight bias. Sometimes, looking back is easy, but when you are there and then, it makes a helluva difference how you reacted.

Ya my current strategy is to do nothing, and it is a biggest challenge to me. It is so boring watching the paint goes dry especially i have a itchy hand and seeing the saving sits idling.

I do hope to see the bull ends soon so that i can keep myself busy again on the big sales. No light in the tunnel yet.

Now i kind of instead of looking for stocks to buy, is looking for other hobbies that can keep me occupied and draw my attentions out of the market :p

Doing nothing is sometimes the best thing!

We all need time for quiet reflection, research and reading. Too much noise from Mr. Market only serves as an unwelcome distraction.

don't do anything silly and LOSE $.

Just watch, Big Grin
1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!
4) In BULL, SELL-SELL-SELL!

What you plan to do with the profits? Keep as cash? Now bank interest so low. Undecided
