I'm increasing stake in this sell down which could turn out bad as well. but I'm thinking if the unlimited mining can be approved, the revenue will be significantly higher in near future.

Hi Life is a game

Have you met the chairman, vice-chair or seen their presentation?

Hi Specuvestor. I have not met any of the mgmt team for cnmc nor seen their presentation live only got their info through reading materials available. I started in this counter in 2014 with a very small bet to act as hedging against equity and political turmoil. today dip was the first time I added some stake. would you have any advice or insights that could provide me some guidance? I buy into this counter also because the mgmt have been very upfront in their activities via the press.

What is the catalyst that you guys are looking at?

US continue printing. Currency weaken to push gold price up. Hehe.

Vice Chair is well known. Chair is supposed to be well-connected. I saw in their website their investor meeting coming so maybe you can pay them a visit, but say limited to 20 seats which I'm not sure if that's permissible Smile

Maybe you have a better idea after meeting them.

Hi LIAG, should you lose money in this company, i think it is okay, everyone will make mistakes some day. Perhaps in this company, you forgot to consider the political risk and the very fact that some governments are just chao kwan. Anyway, you dont have to double your holdings, you need not make money back from the same company, sometimes it is just impossible.

Think about the many uncles who bought cosco from $5 to $9 and still dreaming that if they hold the stock further, someday they will get back their capital. sadly, my dad is one of them

Not the first time a highly profitable business is swallowed by local.

@ life is a game : if you are buying more and significant amount perhaps its better to check with management what this thing is really about. If they applied for unlimited mining does this mean the previous licence was only for mineral exploration? Or was there a limit cap in the previous agreement? It is very likely if they cease for long enough, the share price could hit back sub 20c level.

review should not require complete operation stop if the current operation is within limits of current licence agreement, unless there is already severe environmental impact happening, like the pollution of the rivers etc impacting water supply. If this is regular practice, management perhaps should have beforehand issued statement warning of operation stop to shareholders when they submitted the application for unlimited mining rights.

THis has probably not happened but its a key risk for any gold mining sort of operation.

Hi BlueKelah... I total agree with your points... thank you for sharing your thoughts too.

I read the announcement yesterday, caught me by surprised with such development but also end up with more question marks (?)....

The only clear information that I gathered is... stop work..

Thanks money buddy for the encouragement. I just hope cnmc will not be turn table. after all they just got pulai mining deal which is in the same state as sokor project. not sure how true but someone in hwz called cnmc and they explained that this application large mining has been applied many years ago and now the mining authority then started the paperwork.

@specuvestor buddy. I think my stake in cnmc still far from the invited 20 list of people. but if any buddy here can make it to the 20 hope they can share with us the meeting agenda.
