ask yourselves and the forumers as end users, other than your instagrams, facebook, path, evernote, dropbox, google+, what other apps will make u differentiate M1 from Starhub and Singtel. That is why Singtel is seeding startups. i hope they are successful personally.

I am staying humble and remain open. Mobile data is one of the focus which M1 work on but it is not the only one.

The other focus is on the fixed network service, which is new service to M1. The service is for both residential and corporate users. Corporate users are highly lucrative which M1 are working hard to win. Of course M1 does not forget the residential user. It bring in good $ now when the competition is not "heat-up" yet.

M1 providing "value-add" service to corporate user actively e.g. data center and manage services etc. As for the residential user, i am yet to see any obvious work done yet, but i believe it is within the management priority list, e.g. interative TV, Cable TV or any new innovative apps Tongue

YMMV

I agree mobile remain an important biz to all, including M1

Fixed Service revenue of M1 will reach 65-70 Mils base on my estimation, vs. last year of 38 Mils. It should cross 100 Mils the next FY.

This is just number crunch out from my excel. As i always saying, i might be wrong.

YMMV

When i did my routine scan on SGX announcement, i found that Starhub director is selling

Director Steven Terrell Clontz sold 310 lots @ $3.4303

At PE of 17-18, probably over-value compare with industrial average?

(not vested)

He was the previous CEO. On 28-Jun, he sold 190 lots @ $3.40837.

Unrelated to his selling, I have also sold most of mine (left one batch), which I had mostly held since Oct-09 (no, I told all of you I'm not a trader) plus some from Jan-12. My reason for selling is to switch to other stocks. Habits hard to die... Big Grin

Rational move, as far as "switching" strategy is concern. Big Grin

More selling @ $3.447 for 300 lots on 2-Jul. Balance 229,400.
Today, I bid adios to Starhub after happily collecting dividends for close to 3 years (for the older ones). Just lost my bragging rights to 10% Yield and <$2... Big Grin

Starhub has reached the highest of 3.55 by midday today.

I have sold half of my shares as it has reached 1:1 in terms of cost :profit and will be using the output to switch to any opportunities that arise.

Hi of $3.58 now, really defying gravity, looks like the sky is the limit! Tongue

For TELCOs, M1 now gives the highest yield. Funny, a few weeks back at a lower price and higher yield, it didn't look attractive at all to me. Now, with STI's recovery of ~200pts over the past weeks, which also lifted up many stocks, M1 suddenly looks attractive to me...Rolleyes

Does it mean 2-baggars for your Starhub stock? Tongue
