That would be very risky, no difference from short selling

1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!
4) In BULL, SELL-SELL-SELL!

Exactly my point!

You see, when you read VB.com in the last few weeks, your saliva drops (ok drip)

So many people talks about value stocks and guess what?
They price go up (as predicted).

This is like magic.

Anyway, my doctrine is not to buy anythings that I read.
This has let me loss a lot of opportunity spotted in VB.com.

But, so what?
My life goes on happily.

Even at 59, you would still get more than 5% annual dividend, how many property/hotel counter would give you this yield? Basically I don't really think that it is a value trap, otherwise Mr Ow would have also trapped himself when he got in above 60c last time.

Agree. To each their own. IMO, there is little value added for such posts. People take on risk based on their own (or failed) judgement. No point having a thread just to bet that a stock someone owned will go down.

Anyhow, one's investment capability is judged over a series of investment ideas.

Recently, I find that Felix had been talking down stocks that he sold off, or stocks that he does not own. And most are just a single sentence.

And, he will try to talk up stocks that he had just bought, or are currently holding.

While I enjoy reading some of his writings, but such remarks had made me having another view of him. Of coz, that is my problem, not his.

as a value forum, do we or moderator encourage / allow such 'speculative' thread to go on?
