With the bulk of the purchase done below $0.16, and only a few lots for the highest prices transacted, I dont think anything is brewing.

I agree with everyone above ^

I feel that this stock, at the moment, is a bit pricey. Shall wait for the right moment to enter.

FY13 (ended 31Dec13) full-year result just out…..
http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/LHT-Hold...eID=276615 [result announcement]

Notwithstanding the lower reported PBT and NP, my gut feel is that the underlying profitability of the exiting business operations remained quite strong. FY13 appears to be a year of building up the overseas operations.

An unchanged $0.005/share Final dividend declared.

I thought the latest FY13 (ended 31Dec13) AR makes very interesting reading…..
http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/LHT_AR13...leID=20736

Notwithstanding the quite a significant fall in PBT in FY13 mainly due to pre-operating expenses incurred by the 2 newly formed subsidiaries [(2) and (3) below], it appears to me that a few of LHT Group's new businesses held under subsidiaries have built up quite a lot of latent strengths which could significantly transform and enlarge the group over time.

(1) As more and more of the trees planted on our beautiful island over the years become older, subsidiary LHT Ecotech Resources Pte Ltd will stand to benefit from an increasing volume of cheap raw materials in its wood waste recycling business and and its ongoing woodchips supply contract with Tuas Power.

(2) The GPac factory in Johore (which LHT acquired from Hong Leong Asia for a small sum in 2013!) - now held under subsidiary LHT GPac Technology (M) Sdn Bhd - which manufactures all kinds of moulded pallets, including IPPC pallets, and also conducts wood waste recycling has added new product lines and capacity to the Group. More info on LHT GPac Technology (M) Sdn Bhd and IPPC pallets…..

(3) Subsidiary LHT Ecotech Resources (Tianjin) Co.,Ltd - expected to start operation in 2H-FY14 - was established to engage in environmental wood product manufacturing, wholesale, retail, import & export and RFID pallet rental business to serve the fast-growing Bohai Economic Rim area around Tianjin.

So far, from last year to now, it is steadily trending down, now at 12.5 cents, results should come out by Feb end.
Disclaimer :-

I am not an investment professional.

I encourage you to do your own independent "due diligence" on any idea that I write about, because I could be and probably am wrong.

Nothing written here is an invitation to buy or sell any particular stock.

At most, I am handing out an educated guess as to what the markets may do.

The market will always find a new way to make a fool out of me (and maybe, even you!).

Even the best strategies of the past fail, sometimes spectacularly, when you least expect it.

I am not immune to that, so please understand that any past success of mine will probably be followed by failures

Sorry, too fast pressed submit, looks like a quite NAV growth story.

NAV is above 19 cents and is growing.

Short term disruption over 2013 and 2014.

Looks like a good buy with a 2-3 year time frame.
