It is quite an eye sore! If LHT doesn't wish to develop the land plot, the company should sell it.

As the saying goes: a picture (or perhaps a satellite image) speaks a thousand words. dydx’s post puts to rest any notion that LHT’s Kranji Way site has appreciably more visual appeal than its current Sungei Kadut site. And LHT will have some interesting neighbours.

I have to wonder precisely what restrictions have been placed on LHT vis-a-vis sub-leasing and selling on subdivided parcels.

As an aside, LHT’s shares traded today near their all time high, again in higher than average volumes.

Hi RBM,

+ Ms. Yap obviously see’s upside to LHT’s Business and therefore its share price. dydx speculates vis-a-vis a potential real estate upside in his preceeding post on this thread - given LHT’s Kranji positioning and the real estate expertise LHT brought onto its Board of Directors eleven days ago, I believe dydx’s thinking on this is both highly plausible and highly credible.

Based on the recent AGM voting results, what I have gathered is that there seems to be two camps currently in what had been perceived as a direct boardroom fight - i.e. Yap/Tan vs Li/Neo groups. Is Ms Yap's consistent purchases of LHT shares a result of having to strengthen her holdings in the company in anticipation of future actions by the opposing camp? Or does she believes in the value of the shares even at current levels?

I think one has to consider the current circumstances in view of her purchases and make their own judgement.

hi ghchua,

Thanks for the heads-up. Coincidentally, the AGM MoM was published yesterday and there was an abnormal huge vote against the special dividend. The "against dividend" camp is probably also against ED Tan, since the numbers are similar I suppose. But then again, the biggest shareholder who will benefit from the special dividend is Li.

Hello Weijian,

When announcing Resolution Vote counts at LHT’s recent AGM, I understand that Chairman Li volunteered that he voted against the Special Dividend. I can only speculate why. I would note that Mr. Li assumed the LHT Chairman position five days before the AGM. Prior to that, Mr. Li was a Non-Independent Director, Non-Independent by virtue of his Company’s LHT shareholding.

Won't developing that new kranji land plot needs more capital? Yet they are able to dishing out special bump dividends. admirable

An interesting announcement today: (link to sgx)

Quote:The board of directors (the “Board”) of LHT Holdings Limited (the “Company”) wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company (the “Shareholders”) that it has received a term sheet dated 19 May 2025 (the “Term Sheet”) from Ms Yap Mui Kee (“Ms Yap”) comprising an offer from Ms Yap for the purchase by her (or a special purpose vehicle controlled by her) (Ms Yap or such entity being the “Purchaser”) of all (or substantially all) of the Company’s operating assets and business undertakings (on an going concern basis) as at the cut off date of 31 March 2025 (the “Offer”).

The Offer is an irrevocable offer from Ms Yap. The Offer is valid until 19 August 2025...

I'm not sure whether this is good or bad news but I'm very grateful for Ms Yap offers.

Basically, LHT is a rather low volume counters and with Ms Yap help in buying back and other +ve contribution/actions, the share price managed to go above $1.

From my trading records, my initiate vested in LHT was Jun 2021 brought below 65 cents.

Once again, thanks to our value buddies for your kind sharing.  I always said that I benefited a lot from you (even you did not realised).

Gratitude!
