For me, it is wells fargo, walmart, uob, singH and LionTC.

My reason for choosing wells and walmart is simply because buffett has a stake in them and i also think they are decent businesses.

1) King Wan mainly because of the sale of the Thai Associates. Won't go too indepth here since there is an already ongoing thread.

2) Hupsteel because its price is depressed due to its earnings, but if you dig deeper its actually sitting on alot of undervalued land. Some may say Lion TC & Asia Enterprise Holdings which is in the same scenario as hupsteel (same biz & alot of undervalued industrial land) but imo the lands they own are much newer hence less likely to be redeveloped anytime soon translating to any upside in price anytime soon?

Saw some people mentioning like IPCO. With its dealings with Blumont, Asiasons, Liongold, I would think its better to stay clear of it for the time being. Just my two cents.

Its amazing that I can count the number of STI component stock that is deem undervalued with one hand in this forum. Can I boldly suggest that with all due respect, STI componenet stock trade close to their intrinsic value or they perphas have too much noise of prop traders trading them or maybe they have relatively low value to extract ?

I see most folks here, their list of undervalued stock share similar characteristics of. Relatively low daily traded volume and strong local brand and I personally like that.

Top 5 fav - Ho Bee, UE, OCBC, SMM, ARA.

So far with all the favorite stocks mentioned, it looks like i am a KIASU & KIASI (aka index investor) investor. i am more like a passive then active investor. i think i am a Rojak Investor is correct.
WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

NB:-
My signature is meant for psychoing myself. No offence to anyone. i am trying not to lose money unnecessary anymore.

What do you think about GP Batt recent rights issues? It looks like they need capital injection.
I was once a shareholder of GP batt but after a few years, I was pretty disappointed in it as its earnings never seem to recover. I sold it 1.5 years ago at $1.

Hard to believe can be so concidental... need capital injection when controlling shareholder happens to be less than 1% away from 50% interest?
