It's diff to sell a out-of-fashion "$0 phone".
A better thing to do would be to contact one of the many phone traders on HWZ, and they'll accompany you to the Telco to re-contract. They'll choose & take the phone, and then pay u cash for signing the contract you've chosen.
I've gotten my phone service free year after year by doing this repeatedly. During new iPhone launches, I even get paid (ie. negative subscription fees).
