The 1.700 Mark seems to be the maximum it can go at the moment hmm... Very confident that the past history will replay again where it drops down to 1.5++.The property curb needs to be removed first I guess. Still vested though.

A friend told me the landlord wanted to renew leases every 6 mths. Whether it is for all units or the selected concepts. I have no idea.

How are the mall walking spaces? Would you want to shop in this mall?

Though Eastpoint Mall is sited adjacent to Simei mrt, 1 mrt stop to the north at Tampines mrt are 3 big malls - Tampines Mall, Tampines 1 and Century Square. Hence the main clientele for Eastpoint Mall would just be walk-in customers from the nearby Simei housing estate.

2 stops to the south is another big mall, the Changi Citipoint, fully owned by FCT, an FCL reit. Indeed in the circular for FCT's proposed acquisition of Changi Citipoint mall, Eastpoint mall is cited as the main competitive mall in the vicinity. Wonder why NTUC awarded the contract to FCL to manage Eastpoint mall.

To consider and, if thought fi t, to pass the following Ordinary Resolutions, with or without any modifi cations:
(6) “That authority be and is hereby given to the Directors of the Company to:
(a) (i) issue shares in the capital of the Company (“shares”) whether by way of rights, bonus or otherwise; and/or
(ii) make or grant offers, agreements or options (collectively, “Instruments”) that might or would require shares to be issued, including but not limited to the creation and issue of (as well as adjustments to) warrants,
debentures or other instruments convertible into shares,
at any time and upon such terms and conditions and for such purposes and to such persons as the Directors may in their absolute discretion deem fi t; and
(b) (notwithstanding the authority conferred by this Resolution may have ceased to be in force) issue shares in pursuance of any Instrument made or granted by the Directors while this Resolution was in force,

They are ruling in the possibility of issuing rights!

I think this resolution is quite common amongst listed companies. It refers to the ability, not the intention to issue rights. Correct me if I am wrong.

Anyway, related - agm is 30 jan 2015, 2pm at intercon hotel. See u guys if u are going. Smile
