And that's the idea. Don't forget who are the Statutory boards?
WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

NB:-
My signature is meant for psychoing myself. No offence to anyone. i am trying not to lose money unnecessary anymore.

Nowadays, the dentists near my place charge $65 for a simple cleaning in 15 minutes. I thought it is ridiculous. Imagine a toilet cleaner earns not more than $65 for working the whole day.

I think the system will Be fairer if our universities train more doctors and dentists so that they have less of a "monopoly"
they also got squeezed by high rentals..so in turn squeeze u using their specialised skills..toilet cleaners nothing to squeeze on.

The dentist and doctors have a very strong association which keeps their number in check. Same too for lawyers

In short there is no political will to regulate these bodies. The Big shots in these professions ( i.e those earning big bucks in Pvt Sector) control most of the professional bodies as well as the regulatory bodies in the name of self regulation. These big shots also have big political connections so any efforts to reform these professions are shot down summarily.

most of the these professionals dont earnso much that they can buy the place, most of them are on rental or lease. only a few big shots in all these professions earn enough to buy the prime commercial property which can easily run into a few million.
A fresh medical grad is bonded to serve in public hospitals & gets paid $4k -$5k per month for these 5 years. hardly enough money to buy a prime property..
