Yup! Me too! I find it's getting much harder.. I guess it's better to sit and wait as well.. Hmm.. But speaking of which, it makes you think how Second Chance managed to build up so much available for sale securities since last year... Are they buying overvalued companies?

I am facing the same problem....Hard to find good investment nowsdays....
Went in 2nd chance few years ago. Don't find it attractive anymore...
Perhaps time to look for exit....but then where else can the money goes to ...hahaha!

Guys,

According to their announcement:
Each Bonus Warrant shall confer on the Warrantholder the right to subscribe in cash for one
(1) New Share at an exercise price (“Exercise Price”) of S$0.40 or such adjusted price as
may for the time being be applicable in accordance with the terms and conditions of the
Bonus Warrants to be set out in the Deed Poll.

I can't find information about the deed poll since its in 2008, anyone can shed any light on under what circumstances will the exercise price be adjusted downwards??

usually it is adjusted downwards if say today 2nd chance made an announcement for a 1 for 1 bonus share issue, theoretically the exercise price would drop to $0.20

In short, it is adjusted to make it fair for current warrant holders, dont really have to worry about it

Anybody noticed the persistent and steady rise in the counter these past few weeks?

Dead for 6 months and now suddenly rising. Anybody has insight in the latest movement?

Sell or hold? Smile

If a company is doing well, why should you be concern over short term share price movements?

Stay focus on company strategies.

Sold.

A value investor must also be mindful of his exit points and not just hold forever.

Gains cannot be compounded unless they are realized.

YMMV so long as you are happy. If you have already made up your mind, there is no need to waste time and ask. You answered your own questions

I don't agree fully with this statement. You can still compound your gains if you choose to reinvest your dividends, or by choosing scrip dividend scheme for a Company. There is no need to "realize" the gain in order to compound it.

I agree with your point about dividends - you should definitely reinvest your dividends.

But the compounding effect is stronger if you realize capital appreciation along with reinvested dividends.

That was my point, maybe my I didn't make myself clear enough. Smile
