I can't believe that skinny tree can withstand the impact of the car and still stood so firmly after the impact.

..at other times, read rain cause falling tree..but this tree is really amazing

It's not about the skinny tree - it's about the car being made of....cardboard.

nowadays cars are made to minimise the weight, and this compromise on the impact resistance. Add that to your consideration when u make a car purchase.

Tree trunk like 20 cm in diameter can be very strong. How else can it be use to build houses.
I think most cars will be in trouble for direct hit onto a compact area. No one should be designing against such impact safely.

There is a safety feature, crumple zone in a car that are designed to deform and crumple in a collision. This absorbs some of the energy of direct impact, preventing it from being transmitted to the occupants. Sometime a car might seem crumple, but the frame remains intact.

There is minimum protection for side impact. In this case, two out of three occupants survived.

RIP for the woman.
