It is OK to refer to convicted cases since there are facts.

It is not OK to put up a general statements of "Many are doing it but not caught" and "Tip of the iceberg?" without any supporting fact(s). Without objective fact, the hints are very unfair for our public servants, which have a reputation which we all value.

All posts without supporting fact will be removed. If further similar posting exist, the member will be warned.

One more reason when men/women fall in general, which I posted in other thread.

Still many loopholes need to be plugged. Lets give them some encouragement. Maybe increase the salary to give higher motivation. Since higher salary = less corruption.

I recalled a story.

One teacher puts a small black dot on the whiteboard in a class, and ask the class, what have you see?

All students say "black dot". It is not a wrong answer, it is a fact that a black dot exists. But we need to aware another fact that the white still far outweighs the black, on the whiteboard. Most importantly it is still a whiteboard, not a blackboard.

It's natural no matter how white the board. Question is the black dot will spread very fast if not nip in the bud. If Big Boss can why not me?
WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

NB:-
My signature is meant for psychoing myself. No offence to anyone. i am trying not to lose money unnecessary anymore.

Will this turn out to be another politicking thread? I hope not.

This case has nothing to do with corruption or politics. It is a simple embezzlement case that could happen in any organization. The biggest issues are how did he support his claims for non-existent purchases and if anyone assisted him in his falsified claims. All these procurement scandals will lead to a tightening of procurement processes and lead to a lot of inconvenience to many suppliers dealing with the govt.
