I think this is a insightful BT article which talks abt some ongoing sales tactics surrounding the property mkt. It brings to mind one of the potential "risks" when investing in a property agency, e.g. it can be difficult to manage a diverse grp of property agents/sub agencies. It is somewhat similar to direct selling businesses where there can also be the risk of a representative / member trying "innovative" sales tactics, which may bring abt scrutiny to the parent company or even (temp) licence suspension.
