This company has three business segments - project services, maintenance services and contact centre. Anybody has the profit contributed by each segment? The contact centre account for more than 10% of revenue. I am curious how profitable such a business can be in Singapore. Thanks.

Hai Leck Holdings Limited announced that the Group has been awarded a new project from an existing customer in Jurong Island (the "Project").

The Group was successful in securing the Project due to, amongst others, its adoption of pioneer mechanisation initiatives in this industry, which significantly enhance productivity and reduce reliance on manpower.

The Project, together with other projects, have increased the Group’s current order book by $28 million.

This stock has some value, but IIRC is OnG sector which doesnt look that good in the next 10 years due to rise of EV.

Hai Leck just released its 2QFY2018 results with a very decent set of results. Revenue seems to be slowly inching up and gross margins held steady above 8%. Take a look at their competitors (PEC, Hiap Seng etc) results to appreciate the steady performance of Hai Leck. More importantly , cash is now bursting at an all-time high of $64.8m. Can we expect a very fat dividend this year or major acquisition?

Just realised that Hai Leck had declared a 2 cents (Interim) + 3 cents (Special) dividend during their Second Quarter/ Half yearly announcement on 8 Feb 2017.

However surprisingly their 2Q/ HY announcement on 12 Feb 2018 while not declaring any Interim/ Special dividend says that there was no dividend declared during the corresponding period of the immediately preceding financial year. This seems to be quiet an incorrect statement.

Profit Guidance

The Board of Directors of Hai Leck Holdings Limited announced that after preliminary assessment of the Group’s draft unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter ended 30 June 2019 ("4Q2019"), the Group is expected to record a loss for 4Q2019. The Group is expected to remain profitable for the year ended 30 June 2019 ("FY2019").

The expected loss in 4Q2019 was mainly attributable to lower revenue during the quarter as a result of market conditions.

Further details of the Group’s financial performance will be disclosed when the Company announces its unaudited financial results for the 4Q2019 and FY2019 on or around 26 August 2019.
