Any idea when the Q1 result will be out? Actually I am getting a little anxious, as last FY13's Q1 result was announced as early as 3May13! Take a look at that…..

and you would have noticed a first clear sign of the sharp increase in business volume and profits that followed in the succeeding quarters.

I hope to see another sharp increase in the same in the coming Q1 result..

Amazing - to many, may even be unbelievable! - Q1 result…..

The management seems to have deliberately kept their commentaries on the financial numbers very brief to avoid telling too much. I can fully understand why and appreciate that, and I just like the idea of a business making good money quietly!

As quite obviously revenue/profit increases from Penguin's still growing crew boat charter fleet are still in their early days, and we know Penguin is still adding production capacity and has already started scheduling next year FY15's production, is it conceivable that Penguin could deliver a full-year NP of $30.0m in this FY14 - bearing in mind Q1's NP already came to $7.03m - which if realised would translate to a full-year EPS of approx. $0.0454? Of course, in terms of aftertax FCF, it would be more - likely by some $9.5m purely from depreciation alone.

Quite obviously, the Penguin stock should be worth a lot more than today's last done share price of $0.194, bearing in mind net cash reserve (after deducting customers' deposits on new boat orders placed) alone would be some $35.0m (vs. total cash/bank deposit balance of $51.8m), equivalent to some $0.053/share (based on the latest 660.518m shares). No? Is $0.30 too far-fetched, or still conservative?

Congrat to fellow shareholders. The company crewboat business is surely at a sweet spot. The share price should catch-up with the increased earning and a likely re-rating.

Great results. Wonder if we can look forward to an interim dividend at the end of the first half, as the company is generating so much cash? They will need to keep investing in yard expansion and fleet, but seem to be managing this well.

Penguin has updated its webpage of the new "Flex-50" Fit-for-Purpose DP1 Fast Supply Intervention Vessel (FSIV)…..

What a beautiful boat!

The first "Flex-50" FSIV - named "Pelican Victory" - has joined Penguin's own crew boat charter fleet trading under 100%-owned subsidiary Pelican Offshore Services….

Another Nigerian company - Watergate Technical Services Limited, which is engaged in providing offshore survey and oceanographic services - has placed order for a "Flex-40SL" FSIV due for delivery in Jun2014…..

Good evening kbl,

FYI, the deletion wasn't done by me or other moderators, but by Profeszor himself.

Dear Profeszor, how come it is removed? Big Grin
