OUE Hospitality: 2Q14 DPS beats forecast.
OUE Hospitality Trust announced a distribution per stapled security (DPS) of 1.64 cents for 2Q14, 2.5% above its forecast.
This translates to an annualised yield of 7.6% and a total return of 9.3% from the listing price of S$0.88 in Jul 13. The Reit has declared total distribution of 6.22 cents since its inception. For 2Q14, net property income was also 1.2% above forecast at S$25.2m, mainly due to lower utilities expenses on the back of lower consumption and tariff rates, as well as less property tax expenses for Mandarin Gallery.

OUE Hospitality Trust’s revenue was up 31.8 percent to $28.5 million for the third quarter ended 30 September, mainly as a result of higher revenue generated from Mandarin Orchard Singapore. Consequently, net income accelerated 81.1 percent to $19.1 million. For the same quarter, the trust has declared distribution per unit of $0.0164.

Lippo package and resell to ATM
"SINGAPORE (Nov 28): OUE Hospitality Trust (OUE H-Trust) will spend almost $500 million to acquire Crowne Plaza Changi Airport and an extension of the hotel in a move to drive growth.
The Singapore-focused trust will pay $290 million for the 320-room business hotel and $205 million for an adjacent site currently being developed into an extension that will be connected to Crown Plaza Changi by a link-way.
The extension, which will be completed by end-2015, will give the hotel an additional 243 rooms."
Bought at S$299.5m from LC Development 3 years ago near peak. Lippo and Chaoren modus operandi are similar

Suggested way to rid of chow kuan reputation is to pay out sizeable special div. If divert to buy IPT assets or low ball privatisation , then gone case.
