RE: NSL
NSL is disposing it's BST stake for SGD$328.3 million that will result in an gains of SGD$119.8 million

Waiting to see if they would reward the shareholders via a special dividend. But this would also affect revenue down the road.

RE: NSL
this is their majority profit generator and in 2011 it earns them 82 mil in profits (no doubt that is due to exceptionally good prices)

i got a feeling they snag this for 10 times EBIT. but the impact to NSL is bigger. Their rest of their business isnt really solid generating

Killing the goose that lays the golden egg? Production capability was being restored following the fire at the BST facility hence this sale was quite unexpected.

Quote:Voting Undertaking. As at the date of this Announcement, 98 Holdings Pte. Ltd. holds 303,484,453 Shares, representing approximately 81.24 per cent. of the total number of Shares in issue. 98 Holdings Pte. Ltd. had on 15 November 2013 provided an undertaking to NSL that it will, inter alia, vote in favour of any resolutions to be proposed at the EGM to approve the Proposed Disposal.

Since the major shareholder 98 Holdings Pte Ltd will vote in favour of the resolution on the disposal of BST, this transaction is more or less confirm.
