NSL is disposing it's BST stake for SGD$328.3 million that will result in an gains of SGD$119.8 million

Waiting to see if they would reward the shareholders via a special dividend. But this would also affect revenue down the road.

this is their majority profit generator and in 2011 it earns them 82 mil in profits (no doubt that is due to exceptionally good prices)

i got a feeling they snag this for 10 times EBIT. but the impact to NSL is bigger. Their rest of their business isnt really solid generating

Tot they said wanna focus on core areas including chemicals. Isn't this chemical?

Killing the goose that lays the golden egg? Production capability was being restored following the fire at the BST facility hence this sale was quite unexpected.

shall we vote against? I been holding this golden goose for many years, suddenly need to relook for another goose. Just not ready.

Since the major shareholder 98 Holdings Pte Ltd will vote in favour of the resolution on the disposal of BST, this transaction is more or less confirm.
