Are there any requirements? Like minimum holding period?

0.8% for amount below 750K
Amount in excess of 750K =0.5%
If you have more than 750K , open another account other than current account.
NO LOCK IN PERIOD.
Talk to the RMs and they can advise you on this.

Be wary of any RM of anywhere! Any investment product recommended just make sure it is suitable for you.
WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

NB:-

I told all my RMs not to call me to recommend me other products other than saving deposits. It is their job to recommend but we can tell them we are not interested , don't waste times.

I only met my RM once when i open my CA and SA, their Orchard branch has a grand room for HNW customers but i avoid going in because i just wanted to park some of my cash with them, no need to be close to RM. I check my accounts thru internet.

All RMs will be very nice to you until you don't buy anything. Some freshie RMs are really very nice people but you don't see them after a while in the banks.
