For a sector which has gone up 30%-40% last year and some more this year, shouldn't REIT investors be giving themselves a pat on the back? Unless you are chasing share prices and a pipe dream of another 30%-40% return this year; otherwise reversion to the mean is quite normal.

it is sad for people who has just joined the party recently... this group of people can always find 1001 reasons to enter the reit scene despite its high valuation

to me, it doesn't matter even if its all red in the weeks to come.
1)my portfolio is defensive n net entry price is ard sti 1800-2200 or so. 2)will use OPM ie dividends to auto purchase more whatever the sti. my absolute portfolio may diminish if sti slumps but my army ie shareholdings will become larger.

WB:-
1) Rule # 1, do not lose money. 2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1. 3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money. Truism of Investments. A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return. NB:- My signature is meant for psychoing myself. No offence to anyone. i am trying not to lose money unnecessary anymore. |
